रूलर से सही नाप लो
सबसे पहले स्टील रूलर और पेंसिल की मदद से पटरों पर स्लॉट के सटीक निशान लगा लेते हैं।

रंदे से सतह समतल करो
अब हाथ वाले रंदे से लकड़ी को छीलकर सतह को बिल्कुल सीधा, चिकना और एक बराबर कर लेंगे।
आरी से सही कटिंग करो
फिर हाथ की आरी चलाकर शेल्फ के मुख्य फ्रेम वाले दोनों तख्तों को बराबर लंबाई में काटेंगे।
